Forever Lasts till Dawn captured my imagination. tI was most enjoyable reading! I loved the characters who were very real to me. The settings in the story were very descriptive and interesting. l. I loved the story and was sorry when the novel was finished. The sexual parts of the book were well written and added another dimension to the book. My compliments to MontySilverstone, I hope this will not be his last novel.Product details

This book is a novel about two young ladies. They run from the Ukraine to London. Their new homeland was a struggle at first. It was hard to learn the language and work toward success. At last one finds a business job and the other an acting job. As they find love, they go their separate ways and have separate lives. After a while they get back together and work at re-establishing their closeness. To make money they both danced on the streets of the Ukraine to make money.
The author wrote a story of three generations who were very close, not only by love, but by bloodline. Mr. Silverstone told a wonderful story of coming out of poverty to arise to success. It wasn't easy by far, doors opened and closed in their faces.The story has a mixture of erotic scenes, some violence and tyranny. A lot of what the author wrote was drawn from his own family's life and the fictional characters on stage and in business. As you read the book, you may wonder if parts of it are from Alicia's growing up and her experiences. A wonderful book about rags to riches and the trials and tribulations to go from poor to rich. Some readers may relate to the book through their ancestry. Wonderful described characters and scenery. Lovely Cover.

Set against the backdrop of historic upheaval at the start of the 20th Century and telling the story of three generations of two families struggling only to survive against difficult odds, Monty Silverstone’s “Forever Lasts till Dawn” is a masterfully told epic that celebrates the importance of friendship, loyalty and love. At its core, this novel traces the paths of two women, both talented dancers, through the Russian Revolution, America’s Great Depression, World Wars, the Women’s movement, as well as their own individual personal struggles from rags to riches. Despite these monumental world events, Silverstone has created a testament to the ties that bind us as friends, lovers and family members. “Forever Lasts Till Dawn” is a thoroughly gripping and ultimately satisfying story about two Jewish families over three generations. It’s a rags to riches morality tale about how we live, love and lose during good times and bad. .
In addition to Monty Silverstone’s own fascinating journey in life as an actor, successful restaurateur, and acting teacher, he is also the father of acclaimed actress Alicia Silverstone (the star of several major motion pictures including “Clueless”), as well as two other gifted and talented children, Kezi and David. This is Silverstone’s third book, including an autobiography, a book about racehorses (he has owned several), and finally a book on “acting.” The author seems almost to possess an embarrassment of talents, and he is clearly a veteran storyteller from his experience in theater. His first excursion into the world of fiction holds great promise for more of the same compelling prose. He’s a man who wears many hats, and even has his own website where he promotes this novel, as well as his acting classed (www.MontySilverstone.com).
As the novel opens, we find the our two main protagonists, two young girls from separate Jewish families living in poverty in the Ukraine, and forced to dance in the local marketplace to help support and sustain their respective family members. Finding themselves snared in a trap of lies and sexual tyranny, the two close friends flee to London, despite utter ignorance of the English language or customs of the day. But before making their escape, one of the girls becomes the victim of rape at the hands of her father’s landlord’s own son. Silverstone paints with colorful brush strokes, often with surprisingly vivid sex scenes. The result is a feeling of gritty realism, as the girls carve out their destinies.
The two friends are forced to travel markedly different paths to survive and they both eventually find great success and familial happiness, albeit in separate careers and lifestyles. Though they are separated for a time, the women eventually reunite, but only after surviving difficult and individual pain, hardship and personal tragedy. But this is a hopeful debut novel and an auspicious start by a gifted, confident storyteller who seems to just be getting started as an author of serious literature.

The book draws the reader into the remarkable lives of the characters. Despite some tragedy it's a very fun read.
